Music Resources:
Discovery Streaming: AMAZING resources, able to search by topic, and to narrow the results under "media type" to show only "songs" and/or "audio". Our district has a subscription to this site.
ASCD Edge: A networking website for music teachers. This specific page of the blog is devoted to Common Core for music instructors.
Hicksville Public Schools: This school district created a resource page with information & resources for using music education within the common core structure.
Music With Mrs. Dennis: A music educator blogs about the process of creating a set of music common core standards, and shows the preliminary possible standards/structure.
Prezi "Where Do We Fit In?": a Prezi slideshow about meshing music and "traditional" classroom instruction to support common core.
